Photos from Ice Dyeing at the Ice House, May 6, 2017.
Tee shirts are always a favorite, after ironing of course.
The ice dyeing process produces an infinite array of patterns.
This lady had taken my class at the Ice House last year but wanted to
make a single dyed piece of fabric that she could use for a quilt top
rather than piecing a lot of small pieces of dyed fabric. She came back
this year with a big piece of fabric and this is the result. I love it when
someone takes what they learned in one of my "try this" classes and
then runs with it! And she did. Maybe we'll see it when she gets it quilted.
